With only 5 weeks to go we are proud to announce our plans for our Partnership with CDX at Manchester this year.
Our 150 metre square area, right by the Live Stage will play host to a Mini-Expo dedicated to all things Employment, a first for CDX. We’re taking Employment seriously and believe that to overcome the hurdles the Motor Trade is facing, the industry needs to too.
The Retail Motor Industry is at a crossroads, generational shifts in the workplace, an ever depleting talent pool and a trade which is shifting, have all meant that Employment Matters more today than ever before.
For our Expo, Employment Matters, we have invited some friends to join us, these companies are all experts in Candidate Attraction, Employee Engagement, Staff Retention and Talent Sourcing. All will be on-hand during both days to offer advice and expertise on these key elements facing any employer in today’s market.
As well as this we’ll be taking to the Live Stage, where our Director of Business Development; Jimi Matthews, will be answering questions on Candidate Attraction, Staff Retention and What Employees are looking for from Motor Trade Employers.
Added to this are the two workshops we’ll be running, looking at two of the hottest topics in Staffing, the War For Talent and Interview Skills Coaching. Getting these things right, can lead to amazing employee hiring decisions and long-term staff growth and development, and it needn’t be a fluke; you’ll just need to book your place.
According to Jimi: “These workshops are aimed at all hiring managers, from across all sectors of the Motor Trade” going on to say “the workshops are for those dealers who want to gain a better understanding of employees’ thought processes and behaviours and improve customer satisfaction and sales growth by improved employee engagement. Anyone who hires is welcome.”
The main purpose of our workshops at CDX is to show delegates that Employment Matters, business success is not just about the customer, and that failing to take employment seriously can have a significant impact on profit.
Jimi says “A successful business is a successful employer first, everything follows on from that”
We’ve invited over 300 HR professionals from across the UK Automotive Industry to come along so space will be tight, but if your role within your business involves staffing, be it as a leader, a hirer or a key decision maker, you’ll need to be involved.
CDX is Europe’s leading knowledge sharing and idea generators for the Retail Motor Industry and it’s free to attend!
‘Employment Matters’ and Friends will be on stand A39.
