As Commercial Vehicle Sales Manager, you will be responsible for heading up a profitable and successful Sales Team. Your main duties will be to motivate and manage the sales team to reach and exceed their targets and ambitions while delivering continuous improvement. You will also be expected to deliver reports to the management team.
This is a crucial position within a Commercial Dealership and one which requires someone with a firm grasp on financials and budget control, excellent managerial skills as well as the ability to deliver outstanding customer service. You will be instrumental in identifying new business and retaining existing commercial customers, therefore the right candidate will possess excellent sales and negotiation skills.
A Commercial Vehicle Sales Manager should be hands-on and thrive in a fast paced environment. Previous experience working as a Sales Manager, strong understanding of the commercial vehicle trade and a full UK Driving license are all essential.
Typical working hours in this role can be up to 45 hours per week and some weekend work can be expected on a rota basis. Basic salaries range from £30-45k based on experience however, as Commercial Vehicle Sales you will be entitled to performance based bonuses up to £60K per annum as well as other company benefits. For the right candidate, this role also offers scope for promotion right up to General Manager or Group Manager.
