Duties of the assistant service manager include:
  • Assisting the Service Manager in day-to-day operations of the service department
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction standards are met
  • Overseeing service advisor performance and workload management
  • Managing workshop flow and allocation of work
  • Driving sales and upselling services while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance
Requirements for the assistant service manager role:
  • Proven experience as a Service Manager, Senior Service Advisor or Service Advisor within the automotive industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a team and work efficiently under pressure
  • Knowledge of automotive service processes and customer relationship management
