We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Service Manager to join a reputable dealership representing a leading commercial vehicle brand in Portsmouth, Hampshire. As the Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Oversee daily workshop operations ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery for a leading commercial vehicle brand
  • Provide exceptional customer service, fostering strong client relationships within the commercial sector
  • Manage workshop productivity, efficiency, and quality standards in line with brand guidelines
  • Lead, develop, and motivate the service team to achieve KPI targets
  • Support recruitment, training, and ongoing development of staff
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, audit requirements, and company policies
  • Drive improvement in MOT pass rates, breakdown results, and customer satisfaction scores
Requirements for the Service Manager involve:
  • Proven experience in a similar automotive management or workshop controller position, within a commercial vehicle environment.
  • A calm and organised approach, capable of handling pressure effectively
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Proficiency in workshop management systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • A proactive attitude with a passion for delivering top-tier service and continuous improvement
