Are you an experienced MOT Tester seeking a stable and rewarding role? Our client in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, is looking to recruit a dedicated MOT Tester to join their busy workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician to take control of MOT testing, work with a variety of vehicles, and enjoy a supportive team environment.

Duties of the MOT Tester role include:
  • Conducting MOT tests on a diverse range of vehicles
  • Taking control of all MOT paperwork and ensuring compliance with testing standards
  • Working with two MOT ramps in a team of ten workshop staff
  • Managing a high daily throughput of 18 to 20 MOTs
  • Participating in rotational Saturday shifts, working from 8am to 2pm, with alternate weekends off
  • Providing excellent customer service and vehicle assessments
Candidate requirements for the MOT Tester position:
  • Proven experience as a MOT Tester or in a similar automotive role
  • Full MOT testing qualification
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment
  • Previous experience working with a variety of cars, preferably with an indie background
