Our client, a reputable commercial vehicle workshop based in Preston, is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join their busy team.

Benefits:
- Competitive basic salary of £50,000 per annum
- Overtime paid at time and a half after 45 hours
- Salary rate between £18 and £21 per hour depending on experience
- Working hours Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm

- Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and service work on heavy goods vehicles
- Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer's standards and specifications
- Maintain accurate documentation of work carried out
- Adhere to health and safety policies at all times
- Assist in the ongoing maintenance of the workshop and tools
- Provide excellent customer service and technical support when required
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role
- Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge of heavy vehicles
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management skills and attention to detail
- Recognised qualification in HGV or vehicle maintenance
