Warranty Claims Team Manager required in Harlow,
  • Salary: up to £32,000 basic p.a.
  • Hours: 38.5 per week worked.
  • Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm + 1 in 4 Saturday’s 9.00am - 1.00pm.
  • Benefits: Company Pension Contribution, annual bonus scheme, buy and sell holiday days, various discount schemes.
  • Office Based Position only.
  • Contract: Full Time, Permanent.
Our client is actively looking to hire a Warranty Claims Team Manager for their busy call center based in Harlow, Essex.  

The purpose of the role will be to manage, develop, guide and coach, a team of Warranty Claims Advisors to ensure they proactively work in a positive, versatile way and adaptable to quickly to the changing needs of the business.   

Duties of a Warranty Claims Team Manager will include:
  • Ensure effective and consistent communication throughout the team.
  • Ensure SLA’s are continually reviewed and met with optimum levels of quality and service delivery.
  • Ensure appropriate reporting on SLA and staff maintaining consistency of service provided.
  • Ensuring the company complies with all regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Quality controlling company standards through call listening, feedback, training and performance management.
  • Ensure claims are judged correctly in accordance with coverage and Underwriter’s expectations.
  • Monitoring claim spend where required.
  • Ensure the companies processes and procedures are followed and adhered too.
  • Complete 1-2-1s with staff on performance and absence issues.
  • Transparently and honestly communicating with all department managers.
Warranty Claims Team Manager Requirements:
  • An ability to nurture the team and excel in achieving the best out of the team members, through hands-on coaching and performance management.
  • Highly customer focused, thrives within a target driven environment and happy to implement performance improvements through innovative ideas.
  • Be an excellent communicator at all levels, influencing and managing positively as well as decisive decision making skills.
  • Strong staff leadership skills with the ability to manage conflict and develop people’s skills.
  • Experience in a similar role of managing a large team
  • Experience within the insurance / motor trade / call center industry.
