Our Client, a family run business based in Hampshire are seeking a Chief Operating Officer, to assist in driving the business forward installing quality focused policies and process across the whole of the business.
 
Our Client has experienced strong growth from humble beginnings in the 1940’s to becoming a Medium sized business with a head count of over 130 staff members. Over the next 5 years our client is planning to continue this growth, and see this position as vital role for their business to ensure the service they provide exudes quality all through the business, as they scale up.
 
We are seeking individuals with a Passion for the automotive industry business and Passionate about People.

Duties of a Chief Operating Officer with our Client
  • Focus to achieve customer satisfaction, through operational and economic improvements
  • Target and identify new business opportunities, within the Accident Repair and Bodyshop Market
  • Events Hosting
  • Manage the company’s overall business quality.
  • Introduce and document appropriate procedures.
  • Overseeing Processes within Parts Department
  • Take an objective, firm and fair approach when dealing with the assignment with regard to
  • both internal and external associates.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, and pursue actions to improve etc.
  • Continue to Achieve ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001 certification.
  • Ensure Storage and Packing of Parts is undertaken in most cost efficient manner
  • Manage the Parts team to drive a quality focus approach within the team
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, and pursue actions to improve
  • Working in matrix with the Company Senior Management Team to guide and develop the requisite skills and systems.
  • Coordinate and lead the company’s management and personnel to achieve above and subsequently maintain and comply with the standards, managing audits internally and those from the certifying authorities.
  • Represent the company on business associated engagements, relating to the development of the company’s strategy.

  • Ideally have an understanding of the Bodyshop and Accident Repair Industry
  • Strong Interpersonal and Management skills
  • Ability to speak to customers and sell benefits of business.
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Motivated Self-Starter
  • Competant with Business Development and speaking with a variety of stakeholders.
  • General industrial experience, numerate and commuter literate
  • A competent and experienced individual with ISO experience.
  • Quality management qualification
  • A self-starter who can work through other people to achieve the collective goal.
  • Other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
