Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester
  • Location: Braintree, Essex.
  • Company: Main Car Dealer.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am-6.00pm.
  • Alternate Saturdays worked 8.30am-1.00pm.
  • Salary: up to £34,000 p.a.
  • Bonus: hours sold bonus average of £400 per month on top.
  • Contract: Full Time, Permanent.
Our client is actively looking to hire for their Main Car Dealership in Braintree which boasts a great working environment, modern and specialist equipment as well as a good support network.
 
As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you will be fully skilled in all aspects of servicing and vehicle repairs. Identifying faults and making improvements you must have both a Right First Time approach to your work and a motivation to exceed your productivity targets. You should possess a passion and enthusiasm to work on this brand and be able to demonstrate an ability to work on the latest vehicle technology in an environment that demands quality workmanship and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
 
As a qualified and skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester you will have:
  • A professional track record as an Automotive Technician.
  • Full qualifications to NVQ or City and Guilds Level 3 in Vehicle Mechanics.
  • Qualified MOT Tester (class 4).
  • A professional attitude towards colleagues and customers alike.
  • Able to work to efficiency/productivity targets.
  • Able to run diagnostics, find and resolve faults.
You will be always thinking of how to achieve the highest standards in customer service, whilst ensuring that safety and quality are top of mind. As well you will support other Technicians in this busy environment and you will have the support of the brand to ensure your knowledge and skills are up to date.
 
For this opportunity our client is offering a realistic overall earning of over thirty nine thousand per year! The basic salary offered will reflect the successful candidate’s qualifications skills and abilities in relation to the role and brand which will also include a loyalty bonus.
