Diagnostic Vehicle Technician Required in Farnborough for Car Dealer Group
Pay: £41,000 + Generous Bonus + Overtime 
Hours: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings on a rota 

Our client, a reputable car dealership group based in Farnborough, is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced vehicle technicians looking to further their career within a well-established dealer group. If you are passionate about automotive diagnostics and eager to work with cutting-edge technology, this role offers fantastic prospects.

  • Basic salary of £41,000 per annum with a generous on-target earning of up to £50,000

Duties
  • Perform vehicle health checks and diagnostics using the latest technology tools
  • Conduct thorough routine services and identify additional repairs
  • Carry out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles
  • Fit accessories and additional customer-requested modifications
  • Complete minor repairs, electrical and mechanical work, and warranty jobs
  • Road test vehicles to ensure all faults are resolved
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for each vehicle serviced
  • Assist in identifying and recommending further repair work as necessary
Candidate spec
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic, ideally from a dealership or independent garage
  • Full UK driving licence
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
  • Strong diagnostic skills in both mechanical and electrical systems
  • Self-motivated with a clear desire to develop skills further
  • Ability to work efficiently whilst adhering to manufacturer guidelines
  • Knowledge or experience working with brand-specific technology is advantageous but not essential
