Assistant Credit Controller

This role is based in Republic of Ireland (Eire) however only 14 miles from Newry.

Our client is Ireland’s leading environmental, waste and recycling management company. Using the latest technology, they produce secondary raw materials and new products from the everyday items people throw away.

They offer solutions in Domestic Waste Management, Commercial waste as well as supplying skip hire and managing the Irish councils’ road sweeping.

Our client is a large company with an even larger reputation.

Owing to increased business they are looking to increase the accounts administration team:

In this role as Assistant Credit Controller you will make outbound calls to company debtors as well as Assist/support the company’s Credit Controllers.

You will be expected to follow up when a customer has moved past 42 day credit period making daily calls by phone to debtors, as a means of reducing aged debt.

Use of Email, SMS and letter communications to customers is required, as such good written communication skills are as essential as oral.

Fully flexibility is required for this role as you may well be asked to perform additional duties such as Cover front desk when required or Call Centre cover when required.

You will be responsible for any number of the company’s customer base throughout various locations and you will be expected to ensure all the different types of customers are captured in the running of reports - Running daily/weekly reports as required

Working within a credit control team where tasks are supported and shared

The requirements for this Assistant Credit Controller role are:

- Some administrative experience is required
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
- Ability to multi-task and work within a fast paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Decisive, can-do attitude
- Good Microsoft Office skills and must be proficient with Excel

The working hours are Monday to Friday with a 40 hour week expected.
