Motorhome/Caravan Service Advisor required in Tewkesbury.

- Starting salary of £19,000 per annum adjusting to £20,000 upon completion of your initial three month probationary period plus up to £1,800 bonus potential.
- Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm (paid as overtime).

A rare opportunity has become available for a Service Advisor at our client’s large franchise approved motorhome/caravan service centre based in Tewkesbury
 
Reporting to the Service Centre Manager and working on the reception with a small team, you will be responsible for providing a proactive service to customers requesting to schedule their motorhome/caravan in for maintenance, repair, and customisation work.

As a Service Advisor, you will extensively liaise with the workshop team to chase work in progress on motorhomes/caravans and keep customers' informed on the progress of the work being carried out, ensure charging out of retail, warranty and internal work in accordance with company guidelines.

The Service Advisor will ensure a high level of customer service is maintained, carry out general administration and updating of customer’s details, assist in the handover of motorhome/caravans at collection and delivery, and oversee ordering of parts and accessories as required.
 
In order to be eligible the Service Advisor will ideally live within a reasonable commuting distance of Tewkesbury and previous or present experience in a customer service/administration orientated role within the automotive industry or similar would be essential at this stage. Overall the successful Motorhome Service Advisor would be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills resulting in 100% customer satisfaction. Very strong organisational skills along with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and database systems would be of high priority. Liaising with manufacturers to authorise warranty repairs, and a general knowledge of warranty procedures would be advantageous but is not essential. A UK driving license with minimal points is also essential at this stage.
