We are seeking a Payroll & Accounts Administrator in the Chichester area for our client a well-known accident repair company.

Our Client is a long established Vehicle Accident Repair Centre, they have a great reputation in the local area for quality work, 4+ Stars on Google and a BSI Approved Bodyshop They predominantly work exclusively with Prestige brands and have a strong relationship with major insurance companies.

They are seeking a Payroll & Accounts Administrator to join their Chichester team! This a great opportunity to join a thriving part of the accident repair business.

What’s on Offer for the Payroll & Accounts Administrator: 

- Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00
- Basic Salary up to £28,000

What’s will the Payroll & Accounts Administrator be doing?

- Calculate bonuses and allowances
- Prepare payroll using sage
- Schedule bank payments
- Intercompany recharges including raising invoices
- Distribute payment statements and gather signed receipts (digital or paper)
- Report on payroll expenses
- Ensure wages and tax withholdings comply with regulations
- Enter new employees’ data (eg bank accounts and tax identification numbers) into internal databases
- Answer questions about compensation, benefits, taxes and insurance deductions
- Post payroll journals to the nominal 

To be considered for this Payroll & Accounts Administrator role, you must have:

- Full UK Driving licences
- Proven work experience as a Payroll Officer, Payroll Clerk or similar role
- Hands-on experience with Sage & Sage line 50 accounting software
- Strong math skills with an ability to spot numerical errors
- Good knowledge of legislation
- Time-management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Conscientious and methodical approach to work.
