Vehicle Technician required for a successful and reputable Fleet Maintenance Company in Liverpool, Merseyside.
 
£31,418 per annum + 10% annual bonus (£34,500 OTE)
Monday to Friday 37.5 hours a week

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced and skilled Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to join a workshop which is just one of the 55 commercial vehicle repair centres within the network.

The ideal Vehicle Technician will be able to perform a full range of inspections, repairs, service, maintenance, diagnostics, and MOT tests (MOT Tester Licence permitting) on a variety of vehicles, the majority of which are light commercial vans.

Roles / responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician:

- Inspections, MOT prep, diagnostics, service, repair, and maintenance on a range of commercial vehicles
- Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation
- Setting and operating of machine tools and equipment
- Support workshop team members including Apprentice Techs if required
- Accurate record time to complete jobs and associated details
- MOT Testing duties (if approved tester)
- Occasionally deal directly with customers

The successful Vehicle Technician will have:

- Previous experience within a Main Dealer environment
- Qualified to Level 3 in Light or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work within given timeframes
- Ability to tackle all aspects of vehicle repairs, servicing and diagnostics
- Attention to detail
