Our client is a leading Insurance broker offering support to a number of different industries.
This role has been created owing to retirement and as such it is pivotal that the successful candidate be able to start as quickly as possible and hit the ground running.
You will be managing a group of accounts (customers) across both the UK Fleet Market and the Construction sector as such the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' experience in providing insurance to either or both sectors.
You will be able to demonstrate significant business sales experience with proven results against revenue/margin targets as well as being confident enough to be able to conduct on-site client visits/insurance reviews with a basic knowledge of Risk Management.
You will be expected to provide quotations and sell policies to clients, whilst looking to both achieve and exceed monthly sales targets. You will have responsibility for day to day account handling and administration (New Business Only) and you must be able to demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, committed and flexible attitude towards customers and other team members, recognising the importance and benefits of effective team working.
This role is well-suited to a strong team player who is a confident and capable communicator at all levels. You will be dealing with quotation requests generated by our client's marketing department in the main but some self-lead generation will be required at times. A proactive approach to Sales is a must.
