Purchasing Coordinator required in Aberdeen

Basic Salary of up to £30,000

Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays

An exciting new vacancy with a leading name in the industry based in the Aberdeen Area.

We are looking for a purchasing coordinator to join our client, a highly successful business, selling wholesale to the motor trade.

Your role will be to coordinate the purchase of goods for both the wholesale and retail departments. You will be expected to work closely alongside senior management to improve sales and manage the purchasing process for both the retail and wholesale operations. You will be responsible for pricing and arranging the delivery of overseas containers. You will also be asked to assist other staff and customers with product knowledge providing expert advice and ultimately supervise processing of orders through the job card enquiries and authorise purchases to ensure profit margins are maintained

The ideal candidate will have experience in Automotive aftersales, although this is not essential. It is, however, essential for candidates to have a strong background and work history in a purchasing or procurement role. You should show the ability to learn quickly on the job with a willingness to expand your knowledge. You should be able to demonstrate experience of working within a high pressure, high volume administration position and work unsupervised, show initiative with good time management
