£35,000 - £60,000 Depending on experience

Our client, a digital solutions company based in Birmingham is seeking a Salesforce Engineer to join their team in a client-facing role that combines technical responsibilities and traditional consulting elements.
The company designs and builds bespoke digital solutions for global organisations, often working with blue-chip, FTSE 100 businesses on projects crossing international borders.

The Salesforce Engineer will be involved in the pre & post-sales, implementation stage of our client's services and solutions, and act as the technical adviser in the pre-sales discovery process.

The successful candidate will deliver Salesforce solution definition implementation, customisation, integration, and managed services for clients as such you will be expected to participate in solution design, documentation and delivery efforts in collaboration with the Account Manager.

You will need to be able to establish and build a rapport with clients throughout the project lifecycle to identify areas of future business as well as participating and leading, where appropriate project meetings with the customer. A large part of the customer interaction will involve managing their expectations and you will need to engage with customers on additional requirements and business needs.
You will act as a subject matter expert on Salesforce technology, and lead the User Acceptance Testing process.

You will need the following skills and career experience:
Firstly and most importantly, a passion for helping businesses/clients succeed, along with the ability to discuss complicated digital solutions, often with a lay audience.
You will need to succeed, a strong knowledge of Salesforce team working environment; as well as strong presentation and communication skills.
You will require an ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously; workload will be a blend of large and extraordinary projects, you'll be expected to be able to maintain high standards of professional knowledge of and relationships within the Salesforce and their customers.
The successful candidate should be passionate about development and have experience or exposure to the Lightning Framework, Apex, Visualforce pages, and Version Control (preferably GIT).
