The responsibilities for this Vehicle Technician include :
  • Executing servicing, repairs, and maintenance to uphold high standards.
  • Examining vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components meticulously to pinpoint issues accurately, utilising computer-based diagnostic tools.
  • Rectifying or substituting broken or faulty parts and addressing defects.
  • Conducting road tests on vehicles to verify repairs.
  • Preserving equipment and ensuring tools are in optimal condition.
  • Adhering to checklists to guarantee thorough completion of all procedures.
  • Fulfilling all documentation requirements to the specified standard. Key competencies
To be considered for this Vehicle Technician, you must have:
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is required as a minimum.
  • Possession of a clean driving license for at least one year is mandatory.
