Service Advisor required in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire.

Our client is a Prestige Brand Independent Automotive Specialist, they have a team of highly skilled workshop staff who look after their customers vehicles and are currently looking to add to their front of house customer service team.

As an automotive experienced Service Advisor you will be familiar with day-to-day responsibilities such as:
  • Taking calls and booking in vehicles for work to be done.
  • Able to influence and advise customers on minor technical issues with their vehicle.
  • Putting job cards together and upselling additional work where necessary.
  • Deliver a first-class service whilst achieving the company objectives and targets.
  • Keeping customers informed about the progress of their vehicle in the workshop.
  • A confident relationship builder and able to deal with any issue when they arise.
Details & Benefits of this Service Advisor role include:
  • Competitive Basic Salary ranging from £22,000 to £30,000 p.a. dependent on experience.
  • Weekday Hours: 40 hours per week worked 8.30am to 5.30pm.
  • 1 in 5 Saturday rota worked 8.30am to 12.30pm, working from home.
  • 22 days holiday + bank holidays or match your current holiday allowance (up to a maximum of 25 days, providing proof provided).
  • They are also happy to consider part time/flexible hours.
The successful Service Advisor candidate will come from a motor trade background working as a front of house Service Advisor within a busy service department and be able to easily advise and navigate any customer queries regarding their vehicle. It is also essential that you have a Full/Manual UK driving licence for this role.
