Our client, a successful local automotive group, are looking for a HR Assistant to join the team at their head office in Wakefield. This role provides the opportunity to work under an experienced manager and report directly to company directors. As the group continues to grow this is a secure role with great opportunities for career development. Please note that only candidates with experience of working in HR will be considered for this role.

Responsibilities of the HR Assistant role
  • Advise company directors on HR issues.
  • Assist with payroll, pension and tax.
  • Process new employees and leavers.
  • Help with drafting reports and letters.
The HR Assistant we are looking for
  • At least one year's experience in HR essential.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience of working in a head office desirable.
  • SAGE Payroll knowledge desirable.
  • Competent using Microsoft Office.
