A not-to-miss opportunity has become available for a Vehicle Service Advisor to join our client's Independent Vehicle Service Centre situated in Shaftesbury, North Dorset.
 
In this role you report to the Business Owner and work alongside a friendly workshop and front-of-house team. You shall be critical in providing a pro-active service to customers requesting to schedule their vehicles in for service, maintenance or repair work. As a Vehicle Service Advisor, you will greet customers into the business and go through work to be carried out on their vehicle, extensively liaise with the workshop to monitor and chase work in progress, keep customers informed of their vehicle's progress, take payments for any work to be carried out, where possible upsell on additional products/services and complete any other ad-hoc office tasks that arise.
 
What are is our client looking for? You will be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills resulting in total customer satisfaction. Being a team player, having strong organisational skills, the drive and desire to upsell where possible and IT literacy would also be of high priority. Recent or current experience working as a Vehicle Service Advisor would be highly advantageous however it is non-essential provided you come from a similar customer service orientated role in the motor trade. A UK driving license with minimal points is however essential.
