  • Salary: Competitive, Based on Experience
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 
  • No weekend work
  • Overtime usually available 
An established and well-equipped accident repair centre in the Daventry area is looking to hire an experienced Estimator / VDA to join their professional team. This site prides itself on delivering first-time-right repair solutions with a focus on quality, speed, and customer satisfaction.

Duties as a Vehicle Damage Assessor:
  • Inspecting and assessing damaged vehicles
  • Preparing accurate estimates using Audatex and Thatcham Escribe
  • Producing safe repair methods in line with modern repair techniques.
  • Negotiating with customers and engineers to agree repair costs and any additional work.
  • Creating workshop job schedules and updating staff throughout the repair process.
  • Liaising with parts suppliers to ensure correct parts are ordered and delivered.
  • Keeping customers updated throughout their vehicle’s repair journey.
Requirements for the Vehicle Damage Assessor Position:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar Estimator/VDA role
  • ATA VDA qualification (required)
  • Confident using Bodyshop Management Systems
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • High level of personal and professional integrity
  • Right to work in the UK
