Vehicle Technician Vacancy - Bedford Main Dealer
  • Position: Vehicle Technician 
  • Location: Bedford
  • Basic Salary: Up to £36,000 + Bonus - up to £40,000
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday only
  • 8:30am - 5:30pm with some flexibility.
  • Option for 4 day working week (40 hours)
Our client; a highly reputable Main Dealer in Bedford, is searching for a dedicated professional to join their dynamic team.

This is a fantastic chance to work in a state-of-the-art Workshop, with a competitive salary, a great bonus structure, and the option of a 4-day working week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and general Vehicle Maintenance efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify faults and recommend repairs, ensuring vehicles meet manufacturer and safety standards.
  • Liaise with customers to explain technical issues clearly, providing exceptional customer service and promoting trust in the dealership.
  • Adhere to all health and safety, MOT, and company regulations, keeping accurate records of all work carried out.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualifications.
  • At least 2 years proven experience working within a Dealership or Independent Garage environment.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and a passion for problem-solving.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
