Vehicle Technician needed at Harrogate Independent Vehicle Specialist:
  • Basic Salary: £38,000 (Dependent on experience)-£42,000 OTE
  • Our client is open to technicians with varying skillsets - a package will be available to suit your skill level.
  • Monday - Friday 08:00 - 5:30 with NO WEEKENDS. 
  • Work with top end vehicles at a company with great staff and customer retention.
  • MOT Licence paid for if you don't have one.
  • Independent garage with a great reputation, escape the bonus-driven culture of the PLC world! 
Our client is happy to welcome technicians if they are the right fit, regardless of experience, as there will be salary packages available to suit your skill level.

Main Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standard.
  • Carry out all work completely and effectively.
  • Effectively record details of diagnosis, work completed.
  • Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards to health and safety.
  • Able to work independently and as part of the team when required.
  • Aware of the importance and implication of maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and work to ensure they are met at all times.
Essential Requirements for the successful Vehicle Technician:
  • Being the right fit for the business: our client can accommodate technicians of all skill levels.
  • You must have a strong knowledge of Vehicle Mechanics, with the drive to continue to learn.
  • Ideally you will have a good locality to the workshop and be a fantastic team player 
  • Full UK Driving Licence without excessive points.
