HGV Technician Required in Manchester:
  • Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off - Night shifts (6pm-6am)
  • Salary: Up to £52,000

Are you a motivated and skilled HGV Technician looking for a new opportunity? Our client; a leading provider in Commercial Vehicle Maintenance, is seeking talented individuals to join their team. The key responsibilities as a HGV Technician:

  • Work as part of a team to maintain and repair trucks, lorries and other heavy goods commercial vehicles.
  • Provide excellent service to customers within a specific geographical area.
  • Undertake maintenance and repair activities, diagnose faults, and carry out tests on vehicles.
  • Complete paperwork and procedures related to warranty, contract, and retail work.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to minimise customer costs.
  • Any other duties within your capabilities as required.
To become a HGV Technician with our client you would typically need the following:
  • City & Guilds level 3 in HGV Maintenance
  • Experience in servicing, maintenance, and repair of vehicles.
  • Organised and methodical approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
  • Completion of manufacturers training courses and maintenance of technical knowledge.
  • Full and current UK Driving Licence - LGV and PSV Licence advantageous.
  • Friendly, confident, and professional demeanour with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent Job Card write-up skills and highly efficient.
