Our client is part of a well-known Prestige Dealer group with 90 Years of trade experience, representing some of the biggest brands in the automotive sector.
They are a successful and progressive third generation family-owned business.  In 2020 their turnover was over £600m and they employ over 1000 valued members of staff!

Our client is seeking Paint Sprayers with the ability to work on high-end vehicles to meet dealership standard of paint work finishing.
We’ve worked with this group for nearly several years, they provide a fantastic company culture, a family-feel environment.

Duties of the Paint Sprayer with our Client:
  • Receive vehicle, job card & QC forms; check repairs and take corrective action if needed.
  • Fit protective covers and prep vehicle (degrease, sand, mask, prime).
  • Bake, cool, and de-mask vehicle as required between stages.
  • Prepare surface, mix/match paint, apply topcoat, and rebake.
  • Inspect final finish, complete QC checklist, and sign off.
  • Review colleagues’ work and approve for next stage.
  • Ensure job card and check sheet leave with vehicle.
  • Store all materials correctly with clear date markings.
What our client expects of their Paint Sprayer:
  • Ideally qualified within Automotive Paint Spraying
  • Automotive systems Knowledge (e.g. basic vehicle layout, function and location of parts)
  • Basic knowledge of parts requirements to complete job and the ability to communicate parts requirements via repair orders.
  • Approved and established procedures for replacing components.
  • The quality control and inspection requirements of the Bodyshop department
  • Knowledge of Manufacturers products and recent improvements through Paint Manufacturers, Escribe, technical bulletins, training courses and technical magazines etc
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturer paint repair processes, paint products, features, use, limitations etc.
  • The tools to be used for appropriate operations, together with maintenance procedures and practices.
  • Protective clothing/footwear/masks to be worn for specific operations.
  • Safety procedures for all Bodyshop equipment.
  • The use of computer systems for paint mixing.
