Key Responsibilities for the Diagnostic Technician:
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults on a wide range of vehicles, including hybrids and EVs.
  • Utilise advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and assessments, ensuring high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Keep detailed service records and communicate findings effectively to team members and customers.
  • Stay updated with the latest vehicle technology and diagnostic techniques through ongoing training.
What We’re Looking for for the Diagnostic Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or similar qualification.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding expertise, with experience across both mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicle systems; IMI EV/Hybrid qualification is highly desirable.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering top-tier service.
