Exciting Opportunity: VDA / Estimator | Crash Repair Estimator & Vehicle Damage Assessor located in Epsom:

Our client; a respected family-run Bodyshop based in Epsom, is seeking an Estimator / VDA to join their dedicated team. As a key member of their operation, you will have the chance to impact vehicle repair quality and customer satisfaction in a supportive and friendly environment. This position involves evaluating vehicle damage, providing accurate estimates, and collaborating closely with repair teams to ensure efficient and high-quality service. The ideal personnel will bring attention to detail and a passion for automotive repair, supporting the team in maintaining the Bodyshop's reputation for excellence.

Required Skills:
  • Proven experience or knowledge as a VDA or Estimator within the crash repair industry
  • Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills
  • Ability to accurately assess vehicle damage and prepare comprehensive estimates
  • Knowledge of automotive repair techniques, and estimating software
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Previous experience working as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or in a similar role
  • Familiarity with estimating tools and technology
  • Certification or training related to vehicle damage assessment or auto body repair
Preferred Education & Experience:
  • Automotive or related technical qualification preferred
  • At least 2 years of hands-on estimating experience or working in a Bodyshop customer service environment in a busy collision repair environment
Other Requirements:
  • On-site parking available
  • Monday to Friday working hours, 8 am to 5 pm—no weekends
  • Company staff car scheme and additional staff benefits
  • 22 days holiday plus a day off for your birthday; holiday entitlement increases with length of service
