  • Split Shifts – 4 on / 4 off, alternating weeks 07:00 – 19:00 and 19:00 – 07:00 (42 hours per week)

Our client, a well-established company, is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent role with stability, excellent rewards, and genuine career progression.

Key Responsibilities for a HGV Technician:
  • Carry out inspections, servicing and repairs to meet or exceed VOSA standards.
  • Ensure all vehicles and fleet assets are maintained to company standards.
  • Work flexibly across various VMU (Vehicle Maintenance Unit) tasks.
  • Support delivery schedules by ensuring vehicle availability.
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment and support audit compliance.
What We’re Looking For in a HGV Technician:
  • City & Guilds LGV qualifications or equivalent in LGV Vehicle Crafts.
  • Previous experience in LGV fleet maintenance operations.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence (LGV Licence C+E desirable but not essential).
