Are you an experienced Van or HGV Technician seeking a rewarding night shift opportunity in Newcastle? We are partnering with a well-established commercial vehicle specialist to find skilled technicians like you.
Our client, a renowned commercial vehicle business , is seeking a Commercial Vehicle Technician to join their team in a Night Time role in Newcastle.

Our client is encouraging applicants with HGV Technician experience or those with Van experience to apply.

The successful Van/HGV Technician will get 
  • Basic Salary up to £48,877.
  • Optional Overtime Available.
  • Working Hours: 8pm - 7am Tuesday to Friday - Weekends Off!
  • Work with a great client of ours in a varied role with development opportunities.
  • Our client is seeking both experienced HGV Technicians and applicants with experience as a Van Technician.
  • Opportunity for candidates with some experience acting as a Van Technician to upskill and train on HGV's.
  • Access to industry leading training from the offset and throughout.
  • Opportunity to work for a longstanding commercial vehicle specialist.
  • Potential to join a host of other successful people we have placed with the organisation in the past.
What will the successful Van/HGV Technician do? 
  • Inspect and repair vehicles to DVSA standards including MOT preparation and presentation to test.
  • Fault diagnosis including the use of specialist market leading diagnostic equipment.
  • General mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Opportunity to do offsite working, including breakdown attendance.
  • Display excellent customer service and a dedication to keeping our customer’s vehicles on the road.

The successful Van/HGV Technician will have
  • Either a Level 2 or Level 3 vehicle maintenance qualification.
  • Experience acting as a Van or HGV Technician.
  • MOT License desirable.
  • The ability to work to a high standard.
  • The ability to work well in a team.
  • A can do attitude & a desire to develop their knowledge and skills.
  • An awareness of the importance of Health and Safety compliance.
  • Own set of tools.
  • Full UK Drivers License.
