Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester
  • Location: North Liverpool
  • Working Hours: 40-hour week + regular Saturday morning overtime
  • Salary: £28,000 – £44,000 OTE per year + excellent benefits
Our client, a well-established and family-owned AM 100 motor group, is seeking Vehicle Technicians and MOT Testers of varying levels to join their expanding aftersales team. Key Responsibilities of a MOT Technician:
  • Road test vehicles and diagnose faults
  • Carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Perform MOT Tests in line with DVSA regulations and complete annual training
  • Ensure all paperwork is accurate and up to date
  • Maintain high productivity while meeting agreed timeframes
  • Work collaboratively with the service reception and parts team to deliver excellent customer service
  • Keep work area, tools, and PPE clean and in a safe condition
What Our Client is Looking For:
  • Qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Current MOT Tester accreditation (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence (clean)
  • A strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and commitment to high standards
