Duties of an MOT Tester with our client:
  • Carry out MOTs on Class 4 and Class 7 vehicles in line with industry standards
  • Perform basic mechanical repairs and servicing when required
  • Complete accurate repair and service records
  • Support company policies on health, safety, and data security
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service
What our client expects of their MOT Testers:
  • Fully qualified NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
  • Valid MOT Licence for Class 4 and Class 7 vehicles (Class 5 licence is a plus but not essential, as training can be provided)
  • Confidence to carry out MOT inspections independently
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Friendly, approachable attitude and a team player mentality
  • Full UK driving licence
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with diagnostic systems and workshop equipment
  • Mechanical or servicing experience beyond MOT testing
  • Willingness to undertake further training, including Class 5 MOT qualification
