  • Salary: Basic £35,000 with OTE £40,000 - £45,000 (including bonuses)
  • Hours: 8:00 am – 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 2 Saturdays (8 am – 1 pm)

The site features more ramps than technicians, creating a productive workspace.

As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll perform routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics, ensuring each vehicle meets high standards of quality and safety. Your expertise will help uphold the dealership’s reputation for excellent customer service. You’ll also have opportunities for ongoing training and development, with the chance to work in a supportive environment that values longevity and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct routine servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles
  • Use diagnostic tools effectively to identify and resolve mechanical issues
  • Perform thorough vehicle inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns
  • Complete all work within timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Keep accurate records of work completed and parts used
  • Maintain a friendly, professional approach in customer interactions where applicable
Vehicle Technician Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role
  • Qualified to Level 2 NVQ or City & Guilds in light vehicle mechanics
  • Strong mechanical and technical skills
  • Valid UK driver’s licence
  • MOT licence would be advantageous but not essential (training available)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
