HGV Technician - Day Shift

Join a Leading Commercial Vehicle Specialist in Belvedere! We are actively seeking a talented and dedicated HGV Technician to become a vital part of our client’s esteemed fleet maintenance team. Required Skills:
  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician, LCV Technician, or Mobile HGV Technician
  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification in vehicle repair or related field
  • Extensive knowledge of diagnosing and repairing heavy goods vehicles and associated components
  • Strong understanding of vehicle inspection procedures, including MOT and tachograph
  • Ability to utilise diagnostic tools and IT systems efficiently
  • Commitment to safety standards and right-first-time repair approach
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience working with tail lifts
  • HGV Class 1 driving licence
  • Familiarity with latest automotive industry developments
  • Practical knowledge of using IT systems for diagnostics and record keeping
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Secondary vocational education with relevant automotive qualifications
  • Proven track record working with fleet or commercial vehicles
  • Prior experience in a workshop environment, ideally within the commercial vehicle sector
Other Requirements:
  • Valid HGV Class 1 driving licence (desirable)
  • Flexibility to work alternate weekly shifts: Monday-Saturday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM and Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Maintain high standards of workshop cleanliness and safety
