  • Hours: 45 Hours Monday - Friday - no weekends! 
  • Pay: £32,000 - £38,000 Basic DOE

Our client, a well-established family-owned garage in Horsham, West Sussex, is seeking motivated and a skilled technician to join their growing team. About the Role:
This role offers an exciting chance to be a vital part of a friendly, reputable service centre with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

The garage is approved to carry out Class 4 MOTs and provides a wide range of services, including:
  • Servicing
  • Diagnostics
  • Repari?s
  • Tyres
  • Air conditioning maintenance
As an experienced Vehicle Technician - ideally qualified as an MOT tester - you will be responsible for maintenance, repairs, and conducting MOT tests, ensuring the high standards that the garage is renowned for are upheld.

  • An experienced Vehicle Technician or Mechanic with a proven quality of workmanship
  • Capable of working on all makes and models
  • Motivated and prideful of their work and workspace
  • Enthusiastic about contributing to a family business environment
  • Reliable, hardworking, and customer-focused
  • Ideally qualified as an MOT tester (not essential but highly desirable)
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Recent qualifications or training in automotive technology
  • Experience working in independent or family-run garages
  • Additional skills such as air conditioning or tyre fitting
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Fully qualified vehicle technician with relevant experience
  • Open to candidates with recent training or those seeking further development
  • Candidates willing to undertake or expand MOT testing certification
Other Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Flexibility to adapt to busy workshop demands
  • Commitment to ongoing training and professional growth
