  • Pay: Diagnostic(£40,000) & Master (£55,000) + Bonus
  • Hours: 42.5 Hours per week + Saturdays on a rota

Overview:
As a Senior Vehicle Technician, you will be a vital part of a forward-thinking dealership committed to delivering first-class service. Your technical expertise will ensure vehicles are diagnosed, repaired, and maintained to the highest standards, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and dealership success. Required Skills of the Senior Vehicle Technician Our Client is looking for: 
  • Proven experience working on German-manufactured vehicles, with diagnostic and fault-finding expertise
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team
  • Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive mindset
Nice to Have Skills:
  • MOT Tester qualification
  • Additional advanced certifications such as Master Technician status
  • Experience with a range of vehicle brands beyond German manufacturers
  • Proficiency in using latest diagnostic equipment and software
  • Leadership qualities or mentoring experience
Preferred Education and Experience of the Senior Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician or Senior Technician in a franchised dealership environment
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality repairs and diagnostics
Other Requirements for the Senior Vehicle Technician:
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Commitment to ongoing training and professional development
  • Willingness to contribute to a positive team environment
