Are you a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician seeking to advance your career? Perfect Placement Automotive Recruitment is working with a reputable dealership in Crawley, West Sussex, to find a talented Vehicle Technician to join their busy and well-established workshop.

About the Role

The Vehicle Technician will work alongside experienced colleagues to ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting detailed vehicle health checks utilising the latest diagnostic equipment
  • Performing routine servicing tasks according to manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults efficiently, with work authorised by the customer
  • Completing warranty repairs following manufacturer procedures and documenting all work accurately
  • Road testing vehicles to verify fault rectification
  • Maintaining high levels of professionalism and delivering excellent customer service
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Technician or MOT Tester, either within a dealer group or independent garage
  • A valid UK driving license
  • Diagnostic, MOT, and Electric Vehicle (EV) experience are desirable but not essential—training will be provided
  • A self-motivated, ambitious attitude with a desire to learn and develop within a supportive environment
Benefits & Opportunities:
  • Competitive basic salary with an OTE of up to £47,000, including uncapped bonuses (£6,000 bonus + EV bonus) and overachievement incentives

  • Working hours of 42 per week, Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, with Saturday' on a rota from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
