What the dealership is looking for:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with a minimum of 2 years’ practical repair and maintenance experience.
  • Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent, or significant industry experience.
  • Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to complete first-time repairs to high standards.
  • Proficiency in using modern garage IT and diagnostic equipment.
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach coupled with excellent communication skills.
  • Local candidates or those willing to commute to Crawley are preferred.
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience working with specific dealership brands or advanced diagnostic systems.
  • Additional certifications related to vehicle systems or electrical diagnostics.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 qualification or an equivalent recognised credential.
  • At least two years of hands-on experience in a dealership or busy workshop environment.
Other Requirements:
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Flexibility to work Monday to Friday (8:30am – 5pm) with Saturday mornings on a rota.
  • Ability to handle warranty and recall procedures with professionalism.
This role offers a competitive basic salary of up to £40,885, with an OTE potential of £45,685 inclusive of overtime. The dealership provides a supportive work environment, ongoing career development opportunities, and a balanced work-life schedule.
