Commercial Vehicle Technician – Farnborough
  • Salary: Up to £48,000 OTE (Including £44,000 basic + overtime and bonuses)
  • Hours: Shift Patterns Available (Early & Late Shifts) + Saturday Rota

Are you a skilled HGV, van, or car technician with dealership experience? Do you thrive in a busy workshop environment and have a solid understanding of workshop procedures, IT systems, and job card management? We are seeking motivated and experienced Commercial Vehicle Technicians to strengthen our client's busy dealership workshop. You'll be working on vans and trucks, ensuring all maintenance and repairs meet the highest standards. Whether you're a qualified HGV, van, or car technician with dealership background, we are interested in hearing from you. This Commercial Vehicle Technician role offers competitive pay, excellent benefits, and opportunities for overtime.

What Our Client is Looking For:
  • Experience as an HGV Technician, Van Technician, or Car Technician within a dealership setting
  • Strong knowledge of dealership procedures, IT systems, and job card management
  • Ability to diagnose faults efficiently and carry out servicing and warranty repairs per manufacturer guidelines
  • Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous but not essential)
  • Reliability, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to quality work
Shift Patterns & Benefits:
  • Early Shift: 6am – 3pm (30-minute lunch)
  • Late Shift: 12pm – 9pm (30-minute lunch)
  • Saturdays: On a rota basis (paid at 1.3x overtime rate)
  • Salary: From £18 per hour (DOE) with potential to earn up to £48,000 OTE
  • Overtime: Paid at x1.33 rate
  • Holidays: 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Additional Perks: Private healthcare, bonus scheme (details to be confirmed), and more
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Dealership or workshop experience as a vehicle technician
  • Knowledge of commercial vehicle processes (preferred but not essential)
  • Familiarity with workshop IT systems and job card procedures
  • Ability to work flexibly across shifts, including weekends
