Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester – Midhurst, West Sussex
  • Salary: £30,000 - £42,000 Basic + Performance Bonus + Overtime (Paid at Time and a Half)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (No Weekends!)

The Company:

Our client is a highly respected and busy independent garage located in the beautiful market town of Midhurst, West Sussex. Known for their quality workmanship, excellent customer service, and strong local reputation, they pride themselves on treating customers and employees like part of the family. Due to continued growth and increased demand, they are looking to expand their technical team.

The Role: 
  • Performing routine servicing and maintenance on all makes and models of vehicles
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues
  • Carrying out MOT tests (if qualified)
  • Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and preparation of sales vehicles
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with industry regulations
This is a varied role that offers the chance to work on a wide selection of vehicles, from everyday cars to performance models.

Who We’re Looking For:
  • Qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 2 or 3 NVQ/IMI or equivalent)
  • MOT Tester Certificate (preferred, but not essential – training can be provided)
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and fault-finding ability
  • A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Good communication skills and a customer-first approach
