Recovery HGV Driver required for Aberdeen:

Are you an experienced HGV Driver seeking a rewarding job within a reputable automotive repair facility? We are assisting a prominent accident repair centre in Aberdeen to find a dedicated Recovery HGV Driver to join their team.

Position Details:
  • Salary: £37,000 per annum (Hourly Paid)
  • Working Hours: 7am – 5pm, Monday to Friday, with 1-in-2 Saturdays 7am – 12pm (paid as extra hours)
  • Location: Aberdeen
About the Role:
The successful HGV Driver will be responsible for the collection and delivery of customer vehicles, including transporting vehicles between different sites as required. The HGV Driver role emphasizes professionalism, safety, and excellent customer service. Your key duties will include:
  • Safely collecting and delivering vehicles following highway regulations
  • Inspecting vehicles, documenting damages, and taking photos
  • Supporting vehicle cleaning and imaging processes
  • Assisting workshop staff with vehicle movements and adaptations
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment
  • Completing relevant administrative tasks in coordination with the logistics team
  • Providing excellent customer service throughout all interactions
Requirements for this HGV Driver position:
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
  • A team player with a positive attitude
  • Capable of completing tasks efficiently and to high standards
  • Valid HGV driving license with relevant endorsements
  • Keen eye for safety and compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Optional: Mechanical knowledge or vehicle handling experience would be advantageous
