MET Technician Needed in Worcestershire
  • Location: Bromsgrove
  • Salary: Up to £46,000 basic salary depending on experience + overtime
  • Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday with overtime available - 40 & 45 hour per week contracts available
My client based in Bromsgrove has an exciting opportunity for a MET Technician to join their workshop team! The successful applicant will have the chance to work with a great team and use their expertise to help maintain and repair vehicles.

Responsibilities as a MET Technician will include: 
  • Accessing and removing mechanical and electrical components 
  • Removing and re installing mechanical and electrical systems
  • Following job cards and repairing to manufactural methods
  • Removing and fitting non structural body panels
  • Assessing faults
Requirements needed for the MET Technician role:
  • Be confident and an experience vehicle stripper, fitter or MET Technician. Having previously been involved with the assembly and disassembly of vehicles.
  • A relevant qualification in vehicle body repair or equivalent experience as a MET Technician.
  • Ideally have previous experience stripping and fitting all makes and models
  • Be able to effectively communicate with colleagues
  • ATA accreditation is desired, but not essential
