Our client, a specialist classic car restoration workshop, is seeking a skilled Automotive Electrician Technician to join their passionate and highly skilled team. This is a rare opportunity for a technician with a love of vintage vehicles and a strong practical knowledge of classic car electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, particularly on classic vehicles.
  • Support mechanical restoration work, including engine building and fault finding.
  • Apply good knowledge of carburettor fuel systems and distributor-type ignition systems.
  • Contribute to the restoration of transmissions, braking, and suspension systems.
  • Solve technical problems using excellent engineering practice.
  • Work collaboratively within a small, skilled team to deliver high-quality restorations.
About You:
  • Extensive experience with automotive electrical systems, ideally on classic cars.
  • Knowledge of traditional petrol engines, carburettor fuel systems, and distributor ignition systems.
  • Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and engineering skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently when required.
  • Self-motivated, committed to quality, and passionate about classic cars.
