14-05-2019
Job seeker advice

With such a rich and diverse Automotive industry spanning all corners of the UK, we recognise that many of our candidates are willing to relocate in order to secure their dream role. While this can seem daunting at first, we’ve put together an area guide covering the key regions to give you as much information as possible in order to make an informed decision.

The North West of England as a region has a vast and diverse cultural, industrial and economic history. This wide spread area is made up of five large counties, Cheshire, Cumbria, Lancashire, Manchester and Merseyside. Each has something unique to offer; from the bustling metropolis of Manchester, to the rolling Cumbrian countryside and picturesque market towns in Cheshire.

This region offers those living and working in the area a rich cultural menu, from sporting events, to music concerts, historic cities and award winning restaurants. You won’t be short of things to do no matter what your interests are.

House prices in the North West rose the fastest in the UK in 2018 however with good transport links it is possible to live in the suburbs and commute into the major cities. Heavy investment into further improving the rail links between Bradford, Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool is also in place.

The Motor Trade in the North West is predominantly distributed throughout the major towns and cities with large motor-parks on the outskirts of some of them. As such not all jobs require candidates to brave the city traffic. The employment market place in the North West can be highly competitive, although in recent times, certain roles have become severely lacking in qualified staff and this has led to massive retraining opportunities for Technical roles.

The motor trade job market is fast paced and often competitive but our team covering the North West of England have the knowledge and expertise to help you secure your dream role. We recruit across all disciplines of the motor trade in this area for new and used car dealerships, commercial vehicle dealerships, bodyshops and motor vehicle accident repair centres and also agricultural dealers as well a whole host of other automotive businesses. Find out what makes Perfect Placement different to other agencies by letting us assist you with your search for your next Automotive role.
