This region is vast and sprawling; it comprises most of Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, the East Riding of Yorkshire including Hull, the shire county of North Yorkshire and the City of York, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire.

The area has a lot to offer, with sea, city and the Yorkshire dales all within easy reach. Extreme sports can be enjoyed on the edge of the peaks, it’s vibrant and growing cities offer an array of trendy bars and restaurants and there’s a whole host of venues dedicated to live music. Yorkshire plays host to prestigious sporting events including the Tour de Yorkshire and the World Snooker Championship while Hull was the city of culture 2018 and offers close access to the wonderful coastline and surrounding countryside. Leeds is a bustling city with beautiful architecture, great shopping, museums, galleries, restaurants, music venues and theatres. While Sheffield has a friendly, independent and alternative spirit that you won’t find in other cities; all set against the stunning backdrop of the Peak District National Park.

The cost of living in this region significantly cheaper than national average including house prices which is a major draw and there are great transport links to London, which is less than 2 hours away by train. The City of Leeds has the most diverse economy of all the UK’s main employment centres and has seen the fastest rate of private-sector jobs growth of any UK city.
