Our Client a one of the world’s largest suppliers of Construction & Industrial Machinery are seeking a Field Based Industrial Service Engineer for their mobile team covering Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and West Sussex. 

Our Clients has been within the industry for nearly 30 years with a large customer based from small individual businesses to major international organisations. They provide a variety of equipment for construction, agricultural and other applications.

Duties of Industrial Service Engineer with our Client
  • Provide support to customer at their premises and off-site to ensure machinery is kept in prime operation condition
  • Diagnose, Investigate & resolve customer reports of technical problems with equipment.
  • Ensure job cars are completed accurately and within the given time-allocation
  • Ensure Parts requests are effectively communicated
  • Ensure that a professional manner is kept at all time to ensure an exceptional customer experience
  • Develop working relationships with both colleagues and customers
  • Ensure work is completed to all technical and safety standards
What our Client expects of their Industrial Service Engineer 
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ideally experienced within Forklift Truck Engineering
  • Excellent working knowledge of engines, alternators, control panels and wiring diagrams
  • Excellent verbal, written and critical thinking skills
  • IT Proficient
  • Interpersonal relationships/ Customer awareness/ Commercial awareness
  • Efficient and flexible with the ability to work without supervision
  • Additional beneficial qualifications could include PASMA, CSCS card and Powered Access plus the ability to service the range of machinery would also be useful
