HGV Technician- in Leeds
  • Basic Salary- Up to £43,000 (Up to £17.33 per hour)
  • 4 days on/ 4 days off (6:00-18:00) 
  • MOT bonus available
  • 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays. 
  • Work for one of Yorkshires largest fleet management companies! 
Our client is one of the largest fleet management companies in Yorkshire with a large service provision. They are currently looking to add an HGV Technician to work on their 4 days on/ 4 days off day shift. The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 qualification and previous experience of working on fleet or commercial vehicles. 

The responsibilities of the HGV Technician: 
  • Service and Inspect Vehicles Completely. 
  • Diagnose. observe, recognize and report on vehicle or component defects
  • To ensure all paperwork is completed and signed off and filed correctly. 
  • On occasions you may be asked to attend roadside repairs. 
  • To attend recognized training courses and support apprentices when asked. 
  • To report any broken or faulty equipment to your Supervisor/Manager
  • To interpret and implement technical service instructions data, to ensure a repair or replacement component is replaced or repair in line with manufactures instruction.
Requirements of the HGV Technician:
  • City and Guilds Level 3 Qualification
  • 2 years Minimum of experience as an HGV Technician
  • Ability to carry out Diagnostics, Safety Inspections and Routine Maintenance.
  • HGV license would be desirable. 
What the successful HGV Technician will get: 
  • Basic Salary Up To £43,000 dependent on experience. 
  • MOT bonus available.
  • 4 days on, 4 days off working pattern.
