Vehicle Technician-Family Run Main Dealer in Leeds
  • Basic Salary- Up to £35,000.00, more available for experienced technicians.
  • OTE-£40,000.00+, Overtime/Bonus and Company Profit Share
  • Monday-Friday 08:30-17:00, Saturdays 1 in 3 08:30-12:30
  • 22 days per year annual leave, plus bank holidays. 
Our client runs a multi franchise, family run main dealer in Leeds. They are currently looking to add an experienced technician to their experienced workshop. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification and 5 years+ of experience in a main dealer or independent garage. 

Main Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standard.
  • Carry out all work completely and effectively whilst adhering to manufacturer’s scheduled times to maintain efficiency.
  • Effectively record details of diagnosis, work completed, and components utilised in line with group and manufacturer standards.
  • Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards to health and safety.
  • Able to work independently and as part of the team when required.
  • Aware of the importance and implication of maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and work to ensure they are met at all times.
Essential Requirements for the successful Vehicle Technician:
  • Minimum of Level 3 NVQ or equivalent - MOT Licence would also be beneficial but not required 
  • You must have a strong knowledge of Vehicle Mechanics, with the drive to continue to learn 
  • Ideally you will have a good locality to the workshop and be a fantastic team player 
  • Previous experience working in a workshop is necessary for this role
  • Full UK Driving License.
