Our Client, a busy well-established Waste Management / Plant Business who specialise in a variety of work within the Automotive Industry. The work ranges from Commercial Vehicles, to Plant Hire, and Agricultural. They are a family run Independent Company with a long-standing history dating back 50 years, so it is vital they have the right attitude and want to feel valued as part of the team and not just a number!

You’ll be directly responsible for routing, controlling transport, managing the drivers, ensuring that the transport operates safely and efficiently, adhering to maintenance, compliance and legislative requirements. Our Client does require Transport Managers with a CPC and HGV Class 2 Driving Licence.

Our client is offering the successful Transport Manager:
  • Up To £42,000 Salary + Bonus
  • £5,000 Car Allowance
  • Monday To Friday 8am - 5pm Only / NO Weekends
  • Waste Management / Plant Business 
  • Transport Manager CPC & HGV Class 2 Driving License Required
Duties of a Transport Manager:
  • Responsible for routing
  • Controlling transport and ensuring it operates safely and efficiently
  • Managing the drivers
  • Adhering to maintenance, compliance and legislative requirements
What our Client expects of their Transport Manager:
  • Transport Manager CPC
  • HGV Class 2 Driving License
  • Experience in a Transport Manager role previously
  • Excellent delegation and logistical skills
