HGV Technician required in Grays, Essex.

Our automotive client is seeking a fully qualified HGV Mechanic/Technician to join their already successful team of based in Grays.
 
They are a National Fleet Solutions company, their unique blend of specialist expertise in all things fleet means they help take the pressure off their customers and keep their vehicles on the road doing the job they need to do!

Responsibilities of the HGV Mechanic/Technician role include:
  • Repairing and servicing of HGV’s booked into the workshop.
  • Diagnosing faults on vehicles.
  • Carrying out warranty repairs to manufacturers guidelines.
  • Stripping fitting and replacing components on vehicles.
  • Dealing with customer queries.
  • Ensuring that all jobs are running smoothly and deadlines are met.
They have 2 Shifts Available to choose from:

Day Shift:
  • 4 on 4 off / 06.00 to 18.00.
  • Hourly Rate: £20.
  • 40 Contracted hours per week.
  • Overtime available at flat rate.
Night Shift:
  • 4 on 4 off / 18.00 to 06.00.
  • Hourly Rate: £22.
  • 40 Contracted hours per week.
  • Overtime available at flat rate.
The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified and experienced HGV Technician/Mechanic. Highly skilled and competent at carrying out repairs without support, have a Full UK Driving Licence and IRTEC & LOLER trained.

You need to be a team player, able to work to deadlines, coupled with the ability to use your own initiative and utilise your extensive knowledge as an HGV Technician.
